SUPPORTING THE ACADEMIC
AND LEADERSHIP SUCCESS
OF IOWA’S LATINX YOUTH

Increasing high school graduation rates

Help with college and
career preparedness

Culturally positive experiences and support

For communities to thrive,
every individual within it must also thrive.

Today, more than 200,000 (7%) Iowans are of Latino heritage. As our population continues to grow, so does that number. If the future success of every community depends on the positive futures of their youth, our responsibility is to ensure EVERY one of our community’s youth knows they have the opportunity to succeed.

Unfortunately, many of Iowa’s Latinx teenagers are under the false assumption that college and specialized career training is unattainable for them. Regardless of whether they worry about affordability or feel unqualified, they deserve to know that support and opportunities exist for anyone who dreams of post-secondary education and/or a fulfilling career.

We believe every Iowa child deserves a support system to help guide them toward success.
